Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics provider, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Union City, CA (94587) Pay Rate: $21 per hour Shift: Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (5 days per week required; Sundays + 1 other day off per week) What's the Job? Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures What's Needed? Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds Basic written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends Experience in dock or warehouse operations in the transportation industry is preferred What's in it for me?
