For over 100 years, we've been committed to delivering exceptional care to our community.As an LPN in the Emergency Department, you'll support patient care by performing focused assessments, collecting and comparing clinical data, and collaborating with RNs and the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, appropriate interventions. Responsibilities include:Collaborating with RNs to implement and evaluate nursing careConducting focused assessments and contributing to the overall patient evaluationReassessing patients per Nursing Standards of Care and modifying care plans as neededCollecting and documenting patient data, noting changes from baseline and reporting appropriatelyParticipating in care plan modification based on patient response and predicted outcomesSupporting safe, efficient emergency care in a high-acuity, fast-moving environmentThis role is ideal for a clinically strong LPN who thrives in a dynamic setting and is committed to ongoing professional growth.Qualifications:Current Oklahoma LPN license requiredBLS requiredALS required within six (6) months of employmentDe-escalation (TEAM) training required within six (6) monthsStrongly encouraged to continue nursing education and pursue RN licensureBasic computer skills requiredMinimum 1 year full- or part-time (20+ hours/week) hospital-based experience requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environmentAbout UHS: Universal Health Services (UHS) is one of the nation's largest and most respected healthcare providers.
