Financial Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Analyst ensures financial integrity by performing established financial processes that enable and expedite the proper decisions of the organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzes an organization's past financial data to spot trends and assess risks.
• Predicts ROI outcomes for business decisions.
• Analyzes the production of current providers, departments, and locations.
• Supports RCM team through analysis of billing reports and outcomes.
• Supports vendor decisions through cost savings analyses.
• Calculations for Provider productivity bonus compensation.
• Collaborate with Accounting to resolve reconciliation matters.
• Provide Budgeting and Forecasting support for Organization.
• Internal and external audit coordination and support.
• Produce month-end billing reports for accounting.
• Special programs for metric tracking and analysis.
• Compile reports as requested.
• Read and respond to email in a timely manner.
• Attend department meetings, and clinic required meetings.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Maintains strict confidentiality.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business Analytics or Accounting.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint, etc.

Database knowledge a plus (SQL, Azure).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear (more than 50% of the time). Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods of time; stand; walk; spend time using your hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Repetitive motion of upper body is required for extended use of computers and telephones. Ability to analyze Excel and Athena documents for extended periods of time.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position in an outpatient medical business office setting. Days and hours of work are full-time (8 hours) Monday-Friday.


Work Environment:

This position requires regular and reliable on-site attendance. Environmentally controlled medical environments. Fast paced environment with occasional high pressure or emergent situations.
