Job Details Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44195 Start Date: 09/25/2026 Contract Duration: 20 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 hours Shifts per Week: 3 shifts Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts, days and nights Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Orientation: 16 hours Schedule Notes: Travelers should be prepared to work rotating days/nights and at least every other holiday Additional Opportunities: Potential to float to similar inpatient units as needed Registered Nurse Job Requirements 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty is required 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required; travel RN experience may be accepted Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required One qualifying reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty from the past 12 months Must be able to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation with a passing score Must be available to discuss all requested time off during the interview and submission process Must be willing to complete required pre-start and annual compliance modules as assigned At least 1 year of nursing experience is required if reviewing general experience expectations; however, this role specifically requires 18 months in specialty Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients Monitor cardiac telemetry, recognize rhythm changes, and respond appropriately to patient needs Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in accordance with policy and best practice Document accurately and maintain timely communication with the care team Support patient flow and assist with care transitions as needed Float to similar units when required to care for the same patient population Maintain compliance with orientation, competencies, and assessment requirements Apply now to join a top Cleveland healthcare team in this Med/Surg Tele RN travel contract and take the next step in your nursing career.
