Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is REQUIRED; Cannot be a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT). This position is open to LOCAL candidates ONLY (within 50 miles of clinic). Candidates must hold a valid WA MA license. This is a TEMP TO HIRE opportunity. Yes ONLY HIGHLIGHTS About: PacMed 65+ Health Center is a primary care model (clinic within a clinic) serving our elderly patients (age 62 and up), we are starting with 2 clinicians, and will need 2 MAs (standard MA workflow, working to the top of their scope) to help support the program. Value-based care, team model, goal is to minimize hospital admits/emergency department utilization for our complex patients. Candidates MUST demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this role requires frequent coordination with outside facilities and physicians regarding patient care and information.
