Guest Services Team Member

The Truth is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Part-Time Guest Services Staff to help create an exceptional experience for every guest. As a Guest Services Team Member, you'll serve in a variety of roles - including usher, greeter, and ticket taker - to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment before, during, and after every event.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests, scanning guest tickets upon entry to the venue, answering guest questions, assisting guests with locating their seats and examining tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event.
• Assisting with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable to the guest.
• Resolving guest complaints or problems.
• Examining tickets or passes to verify authenticity.
• Providing assistance to guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations.
• Guiding guests to exits or providing other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
• May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.
• Partnering with fellow staff members at the end of show to close the venue - this may include collecting recyclables or trash from the venue, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as chairs, etc.
• Assisting patrons by giving directions inside or outside the venue.
• Ensuring guests are safely enjoying the show.
• Additional tasks as requested by management.
• Fostering positive experiences for guests, staff, and other stakeholders in a manner that establishes the venue as a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment.

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, and occasional sitting, lifting, and carrying 25 lbs.+
