Registered Nurse, Dialysis

Registered Nurse – Dialysis Unit Shift: 6:30am-4:00pm, 4 shifts per week Call Requirements: 1 Sunday every five weeks, 1 evening call during the week, 2nd evening call every five weeks (not same week as Sunday unless requested) Responsibilities The Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and creates a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. The role spends >50% of time coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities, including: Performing nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments Facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities Providing patient and family-centered education Coordinating care and individualized treatment planning as applicable Qualifications Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky Bachelor’s or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university Basic Life Support certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire) ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department assignment Those with an associate degree and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's program and achieve the degree within 5 years Benefits Health, Vision, Dental and Pet Insurance Life Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Identity Theft Protection Tuition Reimbursement up to $6,000 annually Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave 5 days Paid Time Off available upon hire Bereavement Leave (includes pets) PTO Sell Back Program Compassionate Leave Sharing Program (PTO Donation) Employee Support Fund for emergency financial support Retirement with Company Match These benefits apply to full‑time positions (32–40 hours per week).
