Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (Florida)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individual and group, within school settings
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Consult and partner with classroom teachers and staff to support generalization of skills
• Engage with families, providing updates and resources to encourage student progress at home
• Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech-language services
