Position Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics Location Punta Gorda, FL 33950 Schedule PRN Monday - Friday Pay $35/hr Description Our outpatient center in Punta Gorda is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. You will work alongside two PT and one OT, treating primarily orthopedic cases with opportunities in vestibular rehab, sports medicine, industrial therapy, fall prevention, and ACL programs. New grads and experienced PTAs, welcome! Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients and caregivers in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures. Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program. Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
