Assistant Property Caretaker

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Property Manager with duties necessary to maintain properties in a neat, presentable, well-maintained manner
- Communicate with Property Manager regarding daily priorities and task completion
- Perform handyman repairs and light duty construction on properties and equipment
- Grounds and landscaping maintenance including mowing, pruning, weeding and trimming
- Detailed cleaning and maintenance of outdoor spaces
- Pool maintenance and cleaning
- Car detailing and fueling
- Organize and clean garages, attics and outdoor storage areas
- Manage trash collection, packages and keep common areas cleaned and stocked
- Keep staff workspaces, UTV’s, tools and equipment organized and cleaned
- Ensure driveways and walkways are kept in a safe condition, including snow and ice removal
- Perform janitorial duties as necessary
- Assist other household staff as needed on a priority basis, including moving furniture, heavy objects, seasonal lighting, and other projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous landscaping/grounds experience, including knowledge regarding proper care and maintenance of lawn, trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and follow-through of daily routines
- Enjoy a hands-on, service-oriented position
- Ability to lift 30 pounds to a maximum height of 6 feet, including occasional lifting up to 80 pounds
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and remain standing and walking on feet for lengthy periods of time
- Ability to safely operate power machinery and lawn care tools such as mowers, edgers, clippers, skid steer, snow plow, etc.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
