Get to Know Your Team: * Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. Responsibilities * The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. * This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. * This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services. * The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager. Qualifications Job Requirements: * Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing or an RN Multistate License from the NCL required. * Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited program in nursing * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification * BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. * Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) required. * 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required * Able to complete AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring Course within 6 months of hire. Preferred Job Requirements: * OB nursing certification * EFM certification Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
