Sterile Processing Technician - Sterile Processing

Schedule
Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements
- Minimum of 24 months current experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Active HSPA certification for at least 2 years
- COVID vaccination (declinations not accepted)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Previous travel experience
- One supervisory reference from the last 6 months
- One supervisory reference from the last 12 months
- Completed Skills Checklist specific to Sterile Processing Technician

Roles & Responsibilities
- Care for, handle, and store instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
- Process goods for redistribution throughout the facility.
- Assist Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, including maintaining competencies.
- Follow infection control policies and procedures to ensure a sterile environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training requirements.
