Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Bachelors in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or STEM degree.
• 4+ years of Software development experience in C++ and Python
• 4+ years of Experience with Linux (Red Hat Linux Preferred)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

You will support the integration of open architecture services into tactically representative hardware and verify the functional behavior of the end-to-end capability as deployed on the hardware. We will help identify and leverage your strengths and guide you to develop and accelerate your skills on important projects that provide immediate value to our customers. The day-to-day expectations of the person in this role are that s/he will face complex and challenging assignments that may require investigation and critical problem solving. The specific job responsibilities of this role may be classified and will require the applicant to be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Understands Open System Architectures like Big Iron and AMS GRA
• Experience with containerization technology like Docker and Podman
• Experience with Vagrant and/or Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Gitlab CI/CD
• Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Accredited Bachelor's Degree.

• Full-Time-4/10
