We focus on maintaining a safe work environment and strive to achieve zero injuries through our safety-first culture.About This OpportunityThis position is responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders, picking product from the warehouse, shipping and receiving, and where required, delivery of products to customers.ResponsibilitiesMust maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.Assembles products to company, customer and manufacturer's standardsPerforms all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instructionReceives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse.Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shippingDelivers product as requiredOperates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable)Assists with physical inventoryMakes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvementsPerforms other related duties as requiredSkills and AbilitiesApplicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner.Must have good communication skillsRequires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure.Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools.Basic computer skills preferred, including email and internetMinimum QualificationsMust be 21 years of age or olderA valid driver's license and a clean driving record3-5 years of related warehousing or production experienceA high school diploma or GEDReliable transportation is a mustAbility to work overtime, as requiredAbility to work nights and weekends, as requiredAbility to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs independently on a repeated basis.Ability to consistently move throughout the facility during the full workdayAbility to comprehend work instruction and safety procedures, written or verballyAbility to count and measure accuratelyAbility to properly and safely use mechanical equipment and hand toolsBackground checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)Preferred QualificationsIndustrial setting experienceTotal RewardsCompetitive compensation plan, with a bonus potential of 5% of salaryHealth Benefits: medical, dental, vision, short term and long-term disability – available 1st of month following the date of hire401k with company matchPaid vacation, holidays and sick timeEqual Opportunity EmployerIt is our policy to employ qualified persons without regard for veteran or disability status.
