Our organization is seeking a full-time headache specialist to join the Department of Neurology. We value self-motivated and collegial individuals who are passionate about clinical education. While fellowship training in headache medicine is preferred, relevant experience in the dedicated management of headache disorders will also be considered.

This role is ideal for a clinician educator eager to engage with residents and medical students at both the bedside and in the classroom. Currently, our team consists of three headache specialists and one seasoned nurse practitioner, and we are in the process of establishing a new Headache Fellowship. Faculty members contribute to general inpatient teaching services for 2-4 weeks each year. Our department also includes specialists in dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, neurocritical care, and stroke.

Our Neurology Department is supported by clinical research coordinators and regulatory personnel. Our faculty, hailing from diverse institutions, have united in the picturesque Southern California to create a collaborative program that provides comprehensive and expert care in a compassionate environment. The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $240,000 to $290,000, adjusted based on years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
