Compensation Overview

The salary range for this position is between $447,000 and $520,000 . Please be aware that the final compensation may differ within this range, taking into account the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and considerations of internal equity .

Position Overview

• Attending Anesthesiologist , Generalist with Trauma Focus - Worcester, MA
• Obstetric Anesthesiologist - Worcester, MA
• Regional Anesthesiologist - Worcester, MA

Key Highlights

• The case mix encompasses a variety of procedures, including general, minimally invasive, bariatric, orthopedic (trauma, spine, and joint replacement), thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, hepatobiliary, urology, IVF, and GYN.
• We provide comprehensive services in non-OR settings, such as vascular and neuro interventional radiology, a busy heart and vascular interventional lab, and anesthesia for gastrointestinal services.
• Join our obstetric anesthesia team in the Labor and Delivery unit, which handles approximately 5,000 deliveries annually.
• Opportunities to rotate at our Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the Hahnemann Campus (featuring 9 operating rooms).
• Supervision of CRNAs within the anesthesia care team model is part of the role.
• Engage in the education of residents through our fully integrated and exceptional training program.
• Participate in educational initiatives, medical simulation, quality improvement projects, and research opportunities.
• Our anesthesia team administers around 60,000 anesthetics each year across the Medical Center.

Qualifications

• A valid MD or DO degree is required, along with eligibility for a Massachusetts medical license.
• Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology.
