The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across various routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a strong work ethic. Candidates should possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Flatbed experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Duties Operate and haul a Conestoga flatbed. Tarp loads are required at customer request or in applicable weather conditions. Load and unload freight efficiently and safely at various locations, adhering to safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and freight delivery records. Follow all DOT regulations. Follow route schedules precisely to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Handle special equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes. Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety policies during operations. Experience Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Familiarity with transporting flatbeds is a plus. Prior experience in load & unload operations and using forklifts is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage long hours on the road while maintaining safety and professionalism. Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards related to commercial driving is required.
