Job Title: Director of SalesLocation: Waterloo, IowaSalary: $160-200K plus bonusSummary of Director of Sales Role: Responsible for guiding, managing, and expanding sales operations in North America. The individual will lead revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion in North American territories while ensuring alignment with global objectives. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, overseeing key accounts, and ensuring collaboration between Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Operations.Job Duties & Responsibilities:·This role reports to the Senior Vice President and is responsible for overseeing all North American sales activities.·Collaborate with global counterparts to align strategies, customers, and market approaches.·Lead and develop a team of sales professionals and account managers.·Motivate and manage personnel to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.·Identify and execute growth opportunities across North America.·Manage relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with market needs.·Monitor and manage product profitability within the region.·Evaluate market intelligence to support strategic planning and decision-making.·Maintain a strong market presence through customer engagement and industry events.·Drive performance and foster a culture aligned with company values.·Ensure effective sales execution and continuous improvement.Education & Experience Requirements:·Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.·8–12+ years of experience in business development or strategic sales.·Experience with multinational OEM customers in manufacturing environment.·Proven success in leading cross-regional business opportunities.·Experience managing nationwide accounts and setting sales team goals.
