You’ll join our Accounting team for an 18-month placement, during which you’ll work for six months within three core Accounting disciplines, such as: SEC/Regulatory Reporting, General Accounting, Internal Control Over Financial Reporting, and Accounting Operations.**What You’ll Do*** Learn and conduct Accounting Analyst responsibilities during three six-month placements within three core Accounting disciplines, such as: SEC Reporting (quarterly Earnings Releases and Form 10-Qs, annual Form 10-K), Regulatory Reporting (monthly Bank Call Reports, annual consolidated reporting), General Accounting (general ledger management, journal entry processing, accrual and prepaid calculation, business line accounting support), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (risk and control evaluation for processes which impact Wintrust financially), and Accounting Operations (reconciliations, payment processing).* Participate in other projects and/or activities impacting Accounting.* Participate in learning and development opportunities.* Upon successful completion of the program, you will be offered placement into a full-time position within Accounting.
