Job Description

A manufacturer in Anderson, IN is seeking two Heavy Assemblers for the 1st shift in the Housing department.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to assemble industrial filters.
• Utilize hand and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components.
• Form or bend metal tubing as required.
• Perform functional testing of manufactured products.
• Pack final products for shipment.

• Proficiency in assembly, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform electrical wiring and mechanic tasks.

• Experience with bending machines and as a machine operator.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Once permanently hired, the hourly rate increases to $23/hr, with potential to reach $26/hr within two years.

Work Environment

Work 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with occasional mandated overtime, including some Saturday work. Each shift includes a 30-min unpaid lunch and two or three 15-min paid breaks. The facility is clean, air-conditioned, and quiet, with team-oriented work in groups of 4 or 5. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes, with PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and a high visibility vest provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anderson, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Anderson,IN.
