We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Telemetry unit for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Goldsboro, North Carolina with UNC Health Wayne. This role is ideal for RNs with experience in Telemetry, Progressive Care (PCU), Stepdown, Cardiac, or Med-Surg Telemetry who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in an acute care setting.

Position Highlights

• Location: Goldsboro, NC
• Schedule: Full-Time | 3 x 12-hour Day Shifts
• Pay: $33.00–$54.45/hour (based on experience)
• Retention Bonus: Up to $35,000
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 (based on distance)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN License
• BLS & ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital
• Experience in Telemetry, Progressive Care (PCU), Stepdown, Cardiac, or Med-Surg Telemetry
• Strong ability to interpret EKG rhythms and provide care for patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions
