Qualifications Needed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited college or university. Current State Veterinary License and DEA registration. Minimum of five years of experience in a veterinary practice. Experience overseeing veterinary technicians, assistants, and other practice staff.
