Learning Experience Designer

Location: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Duration: Long-Term Temporary Assignment (Estimated Through End of 2026) Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour, depending on experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Learning Experience Designer to support the design, development, and delivery of innovative educational programs for healthcare professionals. This role combines instructional design, eLearning development, curriculum design, and stakeholder collaboration to create engaging learning experiences that drive professional growth and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult learning, curriculum development, educational technology, and eLearning design, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement educational programs and learning resources for healthcare professionals. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Analyze learner needs, content requirements, and educational objectives to recommend appropriate learning solutions. Develop curricula, learning objectives, assessments, job aids, and supporting educational materials. Incorporate best practices related to learner engagement, accessibility, and health equity. eLearning Development & Educational Technology Design and develop interactive online learning experiences. Create educational content using authoring tools and multimedia technology. Publish and maintain learning activities within learning management systems and educational platforms. Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and accessibility. Support accessibility standards through alternative text, color contrast review, screen reader compatibility, and inclusive design practices. Assessment & Analytics Develop evaluation tools and assessments to measure learning effectiveness. Analyze learner data and educational outcomes to identify learning gaps and opportunities. Monitor learner engagement and recommend improvements based on performance metrics. Support continuous improvement of educational programs through data-driven decision making. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Partner with subject matter experts, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to develop educational content. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and consultants on learning initiatives. Provide guidance on learning strategy and educational design best practices. Participate in workgroups and project teams to ensure learner-centered approaches are incorporated into new initiatives. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Educational Technology, Educational Psychology, Adult Learning, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience 5+ years of instructional design, learning experience design, eLearning development, or curriculum development experience. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, assessment design, and learner engagement. Technical Skills Experience with instructional design and eLearning tools such as: Articulate Storyline Vyond Microsoft PowerPoint Experience working within Learning Management Systems (LMS). Strong writing, editing, and content development skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Experience creating educational content for physicians or healthcare professionals. Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design frameworks. Experience conducting accessibility testing and quality assurance reviews. Experience working within healthcare, medical associations, or professional education environments.
