Schedule:

• Call: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
• Maximum RTO: 7 days per contract (all RTO must be finalized at submission)
• Holiday expectations: If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it; if 2, expected to work both; if 3, expected to work two (major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 8 weeks

Requirements:

• License: GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Experience: Minimum 2 years clinical experience; travel assignments only
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS
• EMR: Epic required
• Skills: Cardiac cath/interventional experience, EP lab knowledge, IABP placement/removal, recognition/interpretation of dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias, scrub and room circulator experience, use of rapid response/code teams

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the cardiac unit, focusing on pre-operative and post-operative interventional procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization laboratory.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing complications promptly.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols during procedures.

Compliance / Notes:

• Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment)
• Full compliance required to start on time; incomplete compliance may delay start by approximately 2 weeks (bi-weekly orientation schedule)
• All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start; onboarding items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
