Instrument Technician (Allied)

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician with a strong background in the reprocessing of surgical instruments. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all instruments are cleaned, decontaminated, and sterilized, adhering to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 11 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Reprocess and sterilize surgical instruments according to established protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reprocessing area.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory management of surgical instruments and supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty.
• HSPA Certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of reprocessing standards and techniques.

Holiday Expectations

All candidates must be willing to work during designated holidays. This includes:

• Two major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
• One minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve

Uniform Requirement

Scrub color required for this position is dark blue, which will be provided by the facility.
