Pay Range:Pay Range:$34.15 - $47.93 This position serves as the organization's primary visual design resource, creating high-quality patient-facing, employee-facing, and organizational communications that strengthen engagement and support SEARHC's mission.In addition to designing materials, this role serves as a steward of the SEARHC brand, ensuring visual consistency across the organization. The Graphic Designer will manage brand standards, oversee the development and maintenance of templates, organize creative assets, and provide guidance to departments across the consortium on proper brand usage.Combines strong creative abilities with systems thinking, helping build scalable design processes that empower others while maintaining a consistent and professional visual identity.SEARHC is a non-profit health consortium which serves the health interests of the residents of Southeast Alaska. We offer generous benefits, including retirement, paid time off, paid parental leave, health insurance, dental, and vision benefits, life insurance and long and short-term disability, and more.Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the JobGraphic Design & Creative ProductionDesign a wide variety of print and digital materials, including:Patient education materialsBrochures and rack cardsFlyers and postersFacility signageEvent materialsPresentation templatesRecruitment marketing materialsInternal communications assetsDigital graphics for web, email, social media, and intranet platformsTranslate complex healthcare and organizational information into visually engaging, easy-to-understand communications.Ensure all designs align with accessibility, readability, and brand standards.Support systemwide campaigns, service line marketing initiatives, executive communications, and community engagement efforts.Brand Management & GovernanceServe as a primary steward of SEARHC's visual identity.Maintain and continuously improve the organization's visual brand guidelines.Review and advise on branded materials created by departments across the consortium.Ensure consistent application of logos, typography, photography, color palettes, iconography, and design standards.Recommend updates to brand standards as organizational needs evolve.Template Development & ManagementDevelop, refresh, and maintain a comprehensive library of branded templates.Create easy-to-use templates for presentations, flyers, newsletters, reports, signage, forms, social graphics, PowerPoints, and other common materials.Partner with internal stakeholders to identify needs and improve template usability.Establish quality control processes that ensure templates remain current, accessible, and on brand.Digital Asset ManagementOrganize and maintain the department's digital asset library.Develop naming conventions, folder structures, and governance standards.Ensure logos, design files, icons, and templates are properly stored and accessible.Maintain version control and retire outdated assets.Internal Consulting & CollaborationProvide design guidance, coaching, and support to employees creating branded materials.Partner with marketing, communications, HR, clinical teams, operations, and leadership to meet organizational communication needs.Help build a self-service design ecosystem that enables departments to create approved materials while maintaining brand consistency.Support print procurement and vendor coordination as needed.Education, Certifications, and Licenses RequiredBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or related field; or equivalent experience.Demonstrated portfolio showcasing print, digital, and brand identity work.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).Experience Required3+ years of professional graphic design experience.Experience PreferredExperience managing brand standards or design systems.Experience creating enterprise-wide template libraries.Experience with Canva Enterprise, Monday.com.Experience working in healthcare, nonprofit, tribal, government, or mission-driven organizations.Knowledge ofStrong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.Knowledge of accessibility best practices for print and digital communications.Understanding of how design supports communication, engagement, and organizational goals.Skills inExcellent organizational and file management skills.Strong visual design and creative problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong customer service orientation.Ability toAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Ability to build systems and processes that improve organizational efficiency.Required Certifications:If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us! #J-18808-Ljbffr SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium
