What You'll Do
- Analyze and diagnose complex GI specimens, including biopsies and resections
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide accurate pathology reports
- Handle liver specimens; liver specialization preferred but not mandatory
- Maintain quality and compliance standards for pathology services
- Document findings thoroughly in accordance with hospital protocols
- Participate in consults and interdisciplinary discussions as needed
What You Need
- Valid California medical license
- Board-certified in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP combined certification
- GI pathology fellowship training
- Experience in handling GI biopsies and resections
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting
