A/R Specialist

Review open accounts for collection efforts Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations Resolves client-billing problems Utilize internal systems daily to post payments, including Vendor Portal System Set new or update customer billing accounts Cross Train and Assist AR Tax Specialist Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and review with management Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements Coordinate correspondence to customers via email, mail, calls etc. to encourage payment of delinquent accounts. Work with internal teams to resolve any issues to support collections Other duties as assigned Qualifications A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. Accounting Degree, preferred. Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to communicate well with others. Strong attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy. Strong time management and organizational skills. Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications. Basic typing/10-key skills. A minimum of 1-2 years account payable and business to business collections within a high-volume wholesale distributor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
