Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience working with high school students preferred
• Extensive knowledge of special education regulations and best practices

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom where all students feel valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and requirements
• Create a supportive learning environment focused on academic, emotional, and social growth
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, counselors, and families to ensure seamless support for every student
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and modifying strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal and state special education guidelines
