Labor and Delivery / OB Registered Nurse - NOC ShiftsThis position requires night shifts with 6-8 call shifts every 6 weeks, and may occasionally include day coverage. The typical schedule will not exceed 4 shifts per week unless mutually agreed upon with the OB Manager.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery/OB Registered Nurse to join our team. This role entails providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of obstetric nursing practices and a commitment to patient-centered care.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care during labor and delivery, including assessments and monitoring of the mother and fetus.Administer medications and interventions as per protocols.Assist with the delivery process, ensuring safety and comfort for both the mother and newborn.Provide education and support to new parents during the postpartum phase.Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement individualized care plans.Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when required.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, and Postpartum nursing.Current MT nursing license or qualifying compact license.Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and intermediate AWHONN certification required.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
