Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time, contract basis for the upcoming academic year. This school-based position runs from August 18th through June 11th and is located near Macomb, MI. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to positively impact young learners’ communication skills, helping them achieve greater confidence and academic success.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
• CCC-SLP credential preferred; strong CFY candidates will also be considered
• Previous experience in school settings working with K-8th graders is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to administer assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver individualized/small group interventions
• Passion for fostering student growth in an inclusive environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students from Kindergarten through 8th grade
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students' educational and developmental needs
• Provide direct speech-language therapy and document progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
• Support students with a range of needs, maintaining a positive, supportive attitude
