You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable codes and standards.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components, including motors, controls, switchgear, transformers, and distribution panelsRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to plan and execute workPerform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing to identify electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing devices (multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imaging, etc.)Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, and related electrical infrastructure in accordance with NEC and site-specific standardsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtimeSupport installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systemsEnsure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety protocolsComplete required documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance logsCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure work is completed on scheduleRespond to electrical emergencies and perform after-hours or on-call work as neededQualifications/Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program preferredValid Journeyman Electrician license (State of Florida) or equivalent required3+ years of industrial electrical experience, including work in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy commercial environmentsStrong working knowledge of NEC and OSHA electrical safety standardsExperience with motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems preferredProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and standard electrical testing equipmentAdditional Requirements / Skills / Working Hours / Compensation RangeAbility to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with industrial electrical workValid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust be able to pass a background check and, where applicable, a drug screening in accordance with client and project requirementsWhat's In It For You:Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision)Company-paid life and disability insuranceOptional benefits like pet insurance, legal, and supplemental health plans401(k) with day-one eligibility, 3% safe harbor, plus up to 2.5% company matchGenerous time off: 10 paid holidays and PTO starting at 15 days, growing up to 25Access to Consertus Academy for continuous learning and developmentEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:Consertus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
