Maintenance Technician

3rd SHIFT OPENING – HOURS: M-F 10:00PM – 6:30AM**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**Repair and/or replace electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipmentPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceMaintain accurate maintenance records using computerized maintenance systemKnowledge of quality, reliability, scrap, and safety goalsObserving all site safety policies and proceduresIdentification of potential machine, system, and component failuresIdentify opportunities for process improvementsAssist with maintaining inventory of spare partsOperate shop equipment including milling machine, band saw, drill press, lathe, welder, and electrical multimeterWorks together with Process Technicians and Supervisors to resolve technical process issuesMaintain the cleanliness of the maintenance work areasOther duties as assignedPOSITION REQUIRMENTS:2-5 years of “hands-on” Manufacturing Maintenance experience in a Blow Molding/Injection MoldingReads and interprets operating and maintenance instructions, instruction manuals, blueprints, and schematicsQualified to perform basic electrical diagnostics and repairsGood understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systemsWorking knowledge of plastics and processing in blow molding and injection applicationsPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Familiarity with PLC, robotics, and servo controls is a plus**WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: **Works in non-climate-controlled production and warehouse operations environment with moderate noise levels, prolonged periods standing/walking (>90% of the shift)Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb stairsMust wear required PPE (head protection, gloves, safety glasses, ARC flash, etc.) in the designated areas or while performing the designated tasksCompensation: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour*This Job Description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee and may be revised at any time by the Company.* #J-18808-Ljbffr Plasticade Products
