Custodian

Part-Time Afternoon Custodial Position

Bishop Hogan Memorial School in Chillicothe, Missouri is hiring for a part-time afternoon custodial position. The candidate hired will be responsible for the effective, efficient and safe custodial practices throughout school. This position is part time averaging 25 hours per week.

Performs functions that require use of machines, tools and equipment for the purpose of maintaining a clean and sanitized environment

Replenishes restroom and other necessary supplies throughout facility as needed

Provide routine cleaning for the school, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, cleaning windows, toilets and sinks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to understand and carry out instructions independently from supervisor

Build collaborative relationships with employees and outside contractors

Ability to work independently or with a team

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Available to work afternoons and evenings

High school diploma or equivalent

Related experience preferred

Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
