We are currently hiring a Corporate Quality Manager to help strengthen and standardize quality practices across Threadlock Precision and its operating locations. This is a remote based role but with preference that this person be onsite at one of our manufacturing locations in St. Louis, MO; Frankenmuth, MI; or Cypress, CA.

Reporting to our Corporate Senior Leader of Quality, the Corporate Quality Manager will help establish, implement, and maintain consistent quality processes, standards, and best practices across Threadlock Precision’s platform including future acquisitions.

\n

\n

This is a working-manager role that will require you to partner with site quality teams and operational leaders to strengthen Quality Management Systems, support compliance, lead audits and corrective actions, improve quality performance, and support the integration of newly acquired businesses.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Enterprise Quality and Compliance

\n

\n
• Implement and standardize quality processes, procedures, tools, and best practices across Threadlock locations.
\n
• Support compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, customer, contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements.
\n
• Assess site quality practices, identify gaps and risks, and support improvement plans.
\n
• Help ensure quality documentation, records, calibration, traceability, configuration control, and other critical processes are effectively maintained.
\n

\n

Audits and Corrective Action

\n

\n
• Plan, coordinate, and lead internal, customer, registrar, and third-party audits across Threadlock locations.
\n
• Support sites with audit preparation, findings, corrective actions, and closure.
\n
• Lead or support root-cause analysis and corrective actions involving significant or recurring quality issues.
\n
• Identify common issues across locations and help implement enterprise-wide improvements.
\n

\n

Customer and Operational Quality

\n

\n
• Support significant customer complaints, escapes, corrective-action requests, and quality investigations.
\n
• Promote consistent practices for nonconforming material, First Article Inspection, quality planning, and customer requirements.
\n
• Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, and site quality teams to improve product conformity and prevent defects.
\n
• Support supplier-quality improvement and significant supplier corrective actions.
\n

Quality Performance and Continuous Improvement

\n

\n
• Establish and monitor consistent quality metrics across Threadlock locations.
\n
• Analyze trends involving customer escapes, nonconformances, scrap, rework, audit findings, corrective actions, supplier quality, and first-pass yield.
\n
• Share best practices and lessons learned across operating locations.
\n
• Support continuous improvement and preventive quality initiatives.
\n

\n

Site Support and Acquisition Integration

\n

\n
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to site quality leaders and teams.
\n
• Help newly acquired businesses assess and strengthen their quality processes and align with Threadlock expectations.
\n
• Support quality due diligence and integration activities as Threadlock expands.
\n
• Travel regularly to Threadlock operating locations to provide hands-on support.
\n

This position requires compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations. As such, candidates must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by applicable law (e.g., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or asylee/refugee).

Basic Qualifications

\n

\n
• At least seven (7) years of quality experience within aerospace, defense, precision machining, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
\n
• At least three (3) years of experience leading quality assurance or quality control/inspection departments.
\n
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality standards and preparing for and leading internal, customer, and third-party audits.
\n

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications)

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s Degree
\n
• Experience in an aerospace and defense precision CNC machining environment.
\n
• Experience with AS9100.
\n
• Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, Six Sigma, or similar professional certification.
\n
• Experience working with customer portals and aerospace quality systems such as Net-Inspect or equivalent platforms.
\n
• Familiarity with CMM inspection, CMM programming, calibration systems, and advanced dimensional measurement methods.
\n
• Experience supporting special-process requirements, supplier quality, or NADCAP-controlled processes.
\n
