Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Join HMD Trucking operating out of Evanston, IL to run OTR dry van freight nationwide with predictable lanes and a commitment to safety. Drivers are assigned modern tractors under three years old, complete with APUs, inverters and sleepers, plus strong in-house maintenance support.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dry van equipment on long-haul routes and ensure secure, timely deliveries.
• Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs and adhere to DOT standards.
• Collaborate with dispatch for efficient routing and on-time performance.

Requirements & pay details:

• CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months driving experience. Pay starts at 65 CPM, about 2,500 weekly miles on average, with bonuses and full benefits.
