Recruiting ManagerChor Youth & Family Services, located at 1010 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA, is seeking a Full-Time Recruiting Manager to support our recruiting team with identifying suitable candidates to fill the current open positions within the various programs at CHOR. The ideal candidate will be creative and outgoing as this role requires daily interaction with all levels of professionals throughout our organization as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible and willing to adapted to changes within the constellation of affiliates.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants and interns.Builds relationships with divisional directors, program directors, and human resources.Coordinates job/career fairs with recruiters and appropriate program staff as a source to generate qualified applicants.Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing by providing the initial screening of work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.Develops and posts recruiting advertisements for program positions in newspapers and job search websites.Develops and conducts training programs for managers designed to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover.Conducts searches on resume databases, i.e., Monster, CareerBuilder, and source candidates from human services industry.Maintains records as required by the Department of Labor, OFCCP, Affirmative Action and company policy, such as, applicant flow, applicant tracking.Ensure applicants are notified of hiring decisions.Utilizes various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.Works closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and preferences.Evaluates and screens resumes and cover letters.Conducts phone and/or in-person interviews.Ensures accurate and timely documentation of candidate information in the applicant tracking system.Creates customized recruitment reports and maintain reports and statistics.Stays abreast of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in recruiting.Adheres to the policies and procedures as outlines in the employee handbook.EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field (PREFERRED) plus 2-3 years supervisory experience in similar role, or 4-5 years equivalent years of documented experience in a Recruiting Manager or higher role. Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written) and thorough attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel. Experience with applicant tracking systems, such as ADP (PREFERRED). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequently changing priorities and complete projects according to timelines. Excellent telephone and customer service skills. Ability to gather data, track metrics and prepare customized reports.
