Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7am - 7pm

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med Surg Travel Registered Nurse for a rewarding assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. This role involves providing comprehensive medical and surgical nursing care across general medical units, within a dynamic and fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

Perform patient assessments, care planning, and inter-professional communication
Utilize EHR for accurate patient documentation
Manage IV therapy, including the use of IV pumps
Administer and monitor medications, including insulin and heparin drips
Provide wound care and utilize wound vacs
Assist with feeding pumps, feeding tubes, and chest tubes
Float to other medical units as needed

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary care
At least 1 year of MedSurg experience at a hospital with 600+ beds
Valid IN State RN license or compact RN license (as of 7/1/20)
BLS certification through AHA
