As a Fabrication Technician you will perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. All work tasks are performed in a clean room environment which is temperature and humidity controlled to prevent product contamination. You will be required to wear a gown, hood, gloves, mask, booties and safety glasses when performing the job.

This position offers 12 hours shifts with built in overtime. Day and night shifts are available. Each shift operates on a 4-3-3-4 work schedule which means one week you work 4 days with 3 days off and the next week you work 3 days with 4 days off. Available shifts are:

• Day Shift – Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 5:24am-5:35pm
• Night Shift – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday 5:24pm-5:35am

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment in performing alignment, masking, etch deposition, testing, and diffusion.
• Perform wafer fabrication by following work instruction and documented procedures.
• Operate equipment to perform various stages of the wafer fabrication process.
• Perform measurements and analysis of critical parameters and record data.
• Adhere to clean room protocol including wearing PPE for long periods of time.
• Maintain proper documentation and records.
• Visually inspect and recognize quality defects.
• Handle fragile GaAs wafers and precious metals, such as gold and platinum.
• Mix wet chemistries.
• Collect and log data into computer-based applications.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Comfortable working around chemicals and in a clean room environment
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse or assembly environment
• Great work ethic and the ability to work well with others
• Clean room experience is a HUGE plus!

Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: $20.60/hour with built in OT = $24.03/hour
• Night Shift: $23.69/hour with built in OT = $27.63/hour
