Event Assistant
Our client in the events and hospitality industry is hosting a high-profile, large-scale event in Boston and is seeking Event Assistants to support guest services during the event. This is a short-term, onsite opportunity ideal for polished, dependable professionals with a hospitality mindset.
7 DAY CONTRACT - JUNE
Responsibilities
- Open and prepare the designated secured area each morning
- Ensure the workspace is organized and ready for guests before doors open
- Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assist guests with receiving their tickets
- Locate guest information within the event system and verify eligibility
- Verify guest identification prior to releasing tickets
- Follow established protocols for third-party ticket pickup when applicable (training provided)
- Maintain professionalism at all times, especially during high-volume periods
Required Qualifications
- Highly professional and polished demeanor; comfortable being client-facing
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Hospitality-focused mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to verify IDs and navigate systems to confirm guest information (primarily Excel-based)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
