Embedded Software Engineer Sr. Staff

Responsibilities Plans, conducts, and coordinates firmware/software development and HW/SW integration activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs firmware/software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Basic Qualifications Experience with mid to large scale system or software development program Experienced in software development using a modern programming language (e.g., C++, Java) Experience with embedded software development Desired Skills Experience with HW/SW integration Experience with flight software systems Security+ certification Experience with Agile software development Clearance and Eligibility A Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Salary The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. The salary range for other states will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
