Technical Scrum Master

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Actively remove technical and process-related impediments to maintain team velocity
- Partner with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the backlog and track Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown)
- Coach the team on Agile best practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement
- Manage all phases of the SDLC from requirements through deployment and ongoing support
- Implement and optimize development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and DevOps
- Oversee quality assurance activities, including unit, integration, and UAT testing
- Support and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews, enforce TDD practices, and uphold engineering quality standards
- Participate in architectural discussions to ensure scalability and long-term alignment
Skills:
- Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks with CSM or PSM I/II certification
- Advanced proficiency in Java (17/21+), Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for Agile tracking and documentation
- Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing strategies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and front-end frameworks (React/Angular) is a plus
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
