Associate Director, Program & Portfolio Operations

Responsibilities

Co-develop high-quality, decision-ready Program Budgets with Development Program Managers and Program Finance teams
Own quality and timeliness of Program Budget outputs across Clinical Development Units and portfolio level
Forecast resource capacity and costs, building end-to-end development plans from IND through lifecycle management
Enable portfolio-level program comparison and support investment prioritization through consistent outputs
Facilitate strategic planning process and guide Strategic Program Teams through deliverable development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years industry experience with minimum 5+ years project management
Significant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience with drug development knowledge
Strong financial competence building and evaluating program budgets and resource forecasts
Strategic planning and portfolio management experience synthesizing complex information
Proven ability to operate as embedded content expert without formal programmatic authority
Strong organizational skills managing multiple programs simultaneously under compressed timelines
Excellent negotiation and influence skills working effectively across organizational levels
