Make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and academic development in a vibrant educational setting near Echo, OR. This full-time, in-person contract role offers the ideal opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to make a difference in school communities.
As a key member of the specialist team, you will provide personalized speech and language therapy to students of varied backgrounds and ages. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Recent experience working with school-aged children in a school setting preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to create individualized therapy plans
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities for managing documentation and schedules
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments of students’ speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement targeted, evidence-based therapy plans
- Maintain up-to-date records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and contribute to the educational team
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in person
