Job Title Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Location & Setting Midlothian, VA – School‑Based (Pre‑K through 12, depending on assignment) Contract Details Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 40 weeks (2026‑2027 school year) Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 12‑hour shifts Contract Type: Local Contract Pay Range: $33.50 – $40.86 per hour (based on experience) Candidate Type: Local or Travel – Travel stipends available Responsibilities Assist in executing therapy sessions as per plans, supporting students’ speech and language development. Collect data, monitor progress, and support classroom activities based on individual student plans of care. Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive tailored services. Requirements Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist Assistant certification.
