Maintenance Technician

Manufacturing EngineerDay shift 6:30-4 In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Work directly with manufacturing associates and engineering to troubleshoot and determine corrective actions for issues occurring from production equipmentMonitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure product qualityWork with tools and machines to create fixtures, workstations, and tools to help productionImplement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiencyActively provide ideas and feedback to support process, product, and organizational improvement initiatives (continuous improvement)Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standardsLearn and participate in the company's lean manufacturing principlesExecute preventative maintenance per our program requirementsTrain and support production staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance proceduresMaintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsDocument and report on production activities, performance metrics, and maintenance tasksSupport and perform production activities as neededThe essential requirements of the job include:Education: AA Degree (electrical or mechanical background preferred) or equivalentStrong problem solving and analytical skills to be utilized for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs.Experience with PLCs and automation systemsAgile learner that is comfortable working on electro-mechanical automated equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and equipmentStrong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced self-directed environmentAbility to support multiple projects at the same timeTeam-minded with ability to build excellent working relationships with colleaguesWillingness to work flexible hours when requiredWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, MS Project, Excel, Power point)
