About the Role:

Orange City Modern Dentistry is looking for a warm, organized, and patient-focused Dental Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice in Orange City, FL. Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming front office experience
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the dental office calendar efficiently
• Verify dental insurance benefits and assist patients with coverage and billing questions
• Present and explain treatment plans, coordinating patient financing options when needed
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely, professional manner
• Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and account balances
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information in dental practice management software

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a dental or medical front office coordinator role preferred
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
• Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy office environment
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental administrative training a plus
