Electronics & Integration/Test Technicians

Pay: $40-$50/hr, depending on experience

Location: Seattle, WA

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday

We're seeking an experienced Electronics & Integration/Test Technician to join a fast-paced engineering team developing next-generation hardware systems. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to build, integrate, troubleshoot, and test complex electrical and mechanical systems while working side-by-side with engineers on cutting-edge projects.

You'll work closely with engineering teams to assemble, integrate, debug, and validate advanced hardware in a prototype-driven environment. From wiring harnesses and control panels to instrumentation, test equipment, and fluid systems, you'll play a key role in turning innovative ideas into working products.

Responsibilities

• Build, wire, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and cable assemblies
• Assemble and wire control panels, PLC cabinets, and industrial electrical equipment
• Perform soldering, PCBA rework, and fine-pitch component repairs
• Assemble mechanical, fluid, and pressure systems including valves, tubing, piping, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers
• Install sensors, instrumentation, controls, and data acquisition hardware
• Execute tubing and piping integration including routing, cutting, bending, and fitting
• Perform pressure testing, leak detection, hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, and system validation
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and integration issues during build and test activities
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, assembly documentation, and P&IDs
• Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve system issues
• Support system bring-up, integration, and testing alongside engineering teams
• Identify design, reliability, fit-up, or tolerance issues and recommend practical improvements
• Perform basic fabrication and modification work including drilling, cutting, mounting, and assembly support
• Maintain accurate build records, labeling, documentation, and traceability requirements
• Help establish clean, organized, and scalable lab and shop processes
• Maintain a safe working environment while operating high-pressure and high-temperature systems

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly, electronics, mechanical integration, testing, or a related technical field
• Experience building and troubleshooting complex electrical and/or mechanical systems
• Strong understanding of wiring, connectors, crimping, grounding, shielding, and cable management
• Experience with soldering and electronic assembly techniques
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and P&IDs
• Experience using diagnostic and test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Experience troubleshooting, testing, or validating technical systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-pressure, thermal, industrial, marine, subsea, aerospace, energy, or other high-reliability systems
• Familiarity with industrial controls, PLCs, sensors, and data acquisition systems
• Experience with Swagelok fittings, tubing systems, and fluid system best practices
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation and troubleshooting
• Orbital tube welding or other high-reliability welding experience
• Manual machining or light fabrication experience (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.)
• HVAC or refrigeration system experience
• Experience supporting custom test infrastructure and engineering laboratories
• Familiarity with quality, traceability, and documentation standards in regulated or high-reliability environments

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
