MARKETING ASSISTANT

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in strengthening the bank's presence and relationships across the local community. This position is highly visible and hands‑on, responsible for coordinating financial education programs, managing sponsorships and donations, supporting volunteer efforts, planning community events, and other duties as required. This role works closely with branch staff, business development, area executives, and the Marketing Director to ensure the bank remains an active, trusted partner in the communities it serves.

SKILLS NEEDED

Education & Experience Experience in community relations, banking, nonprofit work, or event coordination Familiarity with local communities or prior experience working in a local market strongly preferred Skills & Competencies Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills Comfortable working independently and wearing multiple hats Excellent organizational and time management abilities Event coordination skills Ability to connect with a wide range of audiences in a relatable, approachable way Practical understanding of financial concepts (or ability to learn and teach them) Community-minded with a genuine interest in local impact Pendleton Community Bank is an equal opportunity employer / veteran / disability.
