ob Title: Toolmaker (Manufacturing) Location: Warren, MI Type: Contract-to-Direct Contract Length: Minimum 6 months | Conversion based on performance Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Monday–Friday Overtime: Available and sometimes required Overview Experienced Toolmaker needed for a high-quality manufacturing environment. Responsible for building, repairing, modifying, and maintaining complex tooling using blueprints, work instructions, and specifications. Responsibilities Build, repair, and modify production tooling Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Set up and operate mills, lathes, and surface grinders Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges Troubleshoot tooling issues and support production Perform MIG and ARC welding as needed Operate overhead crane and powered industrial truck Maintain safety and quality standards Qualifications Toolmaker certification or equivalent experience 8+ years toolroom or machine shop experience Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills Experience with mills, lathes, surface grinders Welding experience preferred Proven job stability strongly preferred Requirements US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or Permanent Resident Local candidates preferred Reliable transportation required Must pass standard urine drug test and criminal background check #J-18808-Ljbffr FactoryFix
